Digitally divided
It should be remembered that the Internet is used by everyone who has this possibility, so people using different hardware and software log on to the Web at the same time. An accessible website should be displayed in the same way in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome or any other browser.
Unfortunately, the majority of websites are displayed differently in various browsers. The problem becomes even more serious when we try to open a web page in a Unix browser or in a browser installed on a portable device, like a smartphone or PDA. It turns out that most of the information or content active in the form of combo fields is inaccessible. Then we are unable to log on to our bank, social network or check our e-mail.
Access to the Web through slow modem connections is not a rare phenomenon. Unfortunately, designers and owners of web pages do not take this into account at all. Currently, downloading of huge multimedia elements of the website can last forever.
